Winter Masterclasses 2013

We Play Music with Friend Foundation in cooperation with Jāzeps Mediņš 1st Music School of Riga organizes Winter master classes-2013 for teachers of chamber ensembles, 4th till 6th January, 2013 (Jāzeps Mediņš 1st Music School of Riga: Kronvalda bulv. 8 Riga, LV-1010).
We can offer:
- lectures on actual issues;
- open classes;
- individual lessons with your chamber ensembles.
The master classes will be run by remarkable chamber musicians and competent teachers:
Gunārs Larsens (violinist, profesor of chamber music; Lausanne, Switzerland)
Jānis Maļeckis (pianist, Jazeps Vitols LatvianAcademy of Music; Rīga, Latvia)
Mārcis Kuplais (cellist, Music school of Binningen-Bottmingen; Basel, Switzerland)
Kaspars Bikše (psychologist,teacher trainingcourselecturer; Rīga, Latvia)
You can announce your participation and/or the participation of your ensemble till 2012, 1stDecember. You can do it by sending e–mail weplay@inbox.lv You must indicate:
- name the school,
- the teacher,
- the membership of ensemble (name, surname of the participants; age and instruments),
- the repertoire,
- requisites of payer; e-mail, phone number
or individual lessons to a particular teacher you must sign up in advance from 1st till 20th December, 2012 by phoning +371 67181679 (Santa Puriņa) or +371 67326677; +371 22390939 (Gunta Melbārde).
The payment: for a teacher Ls 10,-; for an ensemble at individual lessons Ls 5,-.
Every participant pays his own staying. The organizers can advice where to stay in Riga.
